WHERE IT RUNS

Your AI.
In your name.

Your office, your cloud account, or a mix. You own the hardware or account and hold every key. Nothing goes to an outside service without your approval.

ENVIRONMENT

KEYS
Held by you
OUTSIDE ACCESS
Only what you allow
YOUR HARDWARE / YOUR ACCOUNT / YOUR KEYS

01 / DEPLOYMENT

Three places.
Your choice.

Discovery recommends one, with real quotes. Scope fixes the architecture before anything is bought.

01 / IN YOUR OFFICE

On site.

A machine you own.
On your network.

A server bought in your name and installed on your network. Questions and documents stay in the building, and routine work runs on no one else’s meter. You cover the hardware, the power and Care.

Runs on
Hardware you own, in your office
Your data
Stays in your building
Good fit
Firms whose data cannot leave the building

02 / IN YOUR CLOUD

Your cloud.

Your own account.
Nothing to house.

The same system in a cloud account your company opens and pays for directly. No machine to house or power, and the account and its keys are yours, not ours.

Runs on
Servers in your own cloud account
Your data
Stays in your account, in the region you choose
Good fit
Teams without a server room, or across several offices

03 / A MIX

Mixed.

Routine work at home.
The hardest work out.

Your own system handles routine work. The hardest tasks can still go to a hosted service you approve, under rules you set for what may leave. The bill drops. It does not go to zero.

Runs on
Your hardware or cloud, plus a hosted service
Your data
Sensitive work stays private, by rules you set
Good fit
Firms that need a hosted service for their hardest tasks

02 / DATA REQUIREMENTS

Start with
the requirements.

Name the rules your firm answers to: where data may live, who may see it and what must be logged. Scope records each requirement. Deploy tests the controls before launch and hands over the test results. For data that cannot leave the building, use an office installation.

03 / RESPONSIBILITIES

Who owns what.
Written down.

Responsibilities are written into Scope before anything is built.

  1. Who owns the hardware?

You do. The machine is bought in your company’s name, or the cloud account is opened in it. We recommend and quote; you hold the invoice and the warranty.

  2. Who holds the keys?

You do. Every key, admin login and account is issued to your company. We work through access you grant, and you can take it back at any time.

  3. What may leave the building?

Only what you allow. On site, questions and documents stay on your network. In your cloud, they stay in your own account. In a mix, you set which kinds of work may go to a hosted service.

  4. Who keeps it current?

We do, on Care: monitoring, security updates and fixes, with newer open models tested on your work and swapped in when they do better. Cancel any month.

  5. What does owning cost?

Hardware or cloud servers, power, Care and any hosted service you keep. Discovery’s savings worksheet sets all of it against what you spend on AI and software today, on your own numbers.

04 / HANDOVER

Installed.
Handed over.

Deploy takes two to three weeks. It ends with a working system and everything your team needs to run it.

  • Installed on your hardware or in your cloud account
  • Every key and login in your company’s name
  • Single sign-on and access by role
  • An audit log of every question and answer
  • Encrypted backups
  • Leak and prompt-injection tests on your real documents
  • Training for your team
  • A runbook and a full handover

Deploy is a fixed fee, agreed before we start, with acceptance tests written down in Scope. You can stop after any stage and keep what you paid for.
