PRIVATE AI / OWNED BY YOUWhy own it

01 / WHY OWN IT

Rented AI
has no roots.

Every month you rent AI, someone else owns the meter.

Like solar, owning takes an upfront investment. Routine work runs on your hardware. A hosted service can still handle the hardest tasks, if you allow it. Your bill drops, not to zero. Hardware, power and Care belong in the calculation.

Answers with sources.

Answers from your own files.
On a machine you own.

A Private Assistant searches one team’s documents. Browse the files or ask in plain words. Both use the same access rules.

Answers from your documents.

Your policies, files and past work, searched in plain English on a system you own.

02 / A PERSON DECIDES

It drafts. You approve.

A Company Agent works inside your tools. Nothing is sent or spent until a person says yes.

03 / YOURS TO KEEP

A person

A Company Agent prepares the work inside your tools and procedures. A person approves before anything is sent or spent, and every question and answer goes in an audit log.

06 / REQUEST TO RECORD

One request.
Answered in house.

The request names the job. Your documents supply the sources. A person reviews the draft before it leaves.

“Draft the Marlow quote from our current price list and the site notes. Leave it with me before it goes.”

The Company Agent prepares the work from documents on your own system. Your team sees the draft and decides what leaves the company.

  1. 01

    Find the context.

Search the price list and site notes on your own system, alongside the request.

  2. 02

    Prepare the work.

Prepare the quote line by line, with the sources behind it. Mark it clearly as a draft that has not been sent.

  3. 03

Put a person at the decision.

Review the actual quote, its sources and the reason behind it. Approve, adjust or send it back.

  4. 04

    Keep a record.

The question, the answer and the decision go in the audit log, on your system and in your name.

FOR THE PEOPLE DOING THE WORK

FOR THE PEOPLE RUNNING IT

Own the routine work.

Routine work runs on a system you own, so the bill drops. The hardest part can still go to a hosted service you approve.

FOR THE DATA THAT CAN’T LEAVE

Client files can stay on a machine in your building. You set what may leave.

FOR DATA THAT CANNOT LEAVE THE BUILDING

Map the sensitive data first.

For law, accounting and medical practices, government contractors and others whose data has to stay put, Discovery records where each kind of data lives and who may see it. Scope plans access and the audit log around that map.

08 / CONTRACT STAGES

Five stages.
Stop after
any one.

Each stage has its own contract and fixed fee, agreed upfront. Keep its deliverables. Decide whether to continue.

01

Discovery

Two weeks. We collect your real AI spend, map your sensitive data and run 3 to 5 of your real tasks privately. You keep the roadmap.

02

Scope

Two to three weeks. A data check, tests on 50 to 100 of your real tasks, the architecture, a security plan, fixed quotes and acceptance tests. The spec is yours.

03

Build

Four to ten weeks. A Private Assistant, a Company Agent, or a Custom Model: the agent plus a model trained on your own work.

04

Deploy

Two to three weeks. Installed in your office or your own cloud account, tested for leaks and prompt injection, with training and a full handover.

05

Care

Monthly, cancel any month. Monitoring, security updates, fixes, and newer open models tested and swapped in as they get better.

09 / START WITH DISCOVERY

Two weeks.
Yours to keep.

A fixed fee, agreed upfront. If Discovery does not find yearly savings worth at least three times its fee, the fee comes back. Continue to Scope within 30 days and it counts toward Scope.

  1. 01

    Your real spend.

We collect what you pay today for AI and software, so the savings worksheet runs on your own numbers.

  2. 02

    Your sensitive data.

We map your sensitive data and where it lives, then what can run privately first, later or never.

  3. 03

    Your real tasks.

We run 3 to 5 of your real tasks on a private system, beside what you use now, so you can compare.

  4. 04

    A readout you keep.

A roadmap, a savings worksheet, a hardware or private cloud recommendation with real quotes, a privacy and risk map and a recorded readout. Usable without us.

10 / NEXT STEPS

Check the controls.

See what it does, how the stages work and what stays in your control.

11 / QUESTIONS

Before you decide.

Will this replace our AI subscriptions?

No. It offsets them. The system you own handles the routine work, and a top hosted service can still take the hardest part. Your bill drops, but some hosted spend remains, and owning has its own costs: hardware, power and Care. Discovery checks the savings on your own numbers first.

How does it stay current?

That is what Care is for. It is monthly and you can cancel any month. We monitor the system, apply security updates and fixes, and test newer open models as they get better. When one does your work better, we swap it in and retrain it on your work where that applies.

What if we stop working with you?

Every stage ends with something you keep. Stop after Discovery and you keep the roadmap, the savings worksheet, the quotes and the risk map. Stop after Scope and the spec is yours. Cancel Care and the system keeps running on your hardware or in your cloud account. Our monitoring, fixes and model updates stop, and you run it with the runbook from Deploy.

What stays ours?

Your data, the hardware or cloud account it runs in, every key and login, the spec, the runbook and the audit log. Keys and logins are set up in your name, not ours.

Why not just keep renting?

Renting works until the terms change. Vendors can gate, change or reprice access, and the more your work depends on someone else’s meter, the more pricing power they have. Owning the routine part puts that choice back with you.

How are fees agreed?

Each stage is a fixed fee, agreed before we start. Discovery comes with a guarantee: if it does not find yearly savings worth at least three times its fee, the fee comes back. It suits firms with real monthly AI spend, or data that cannot leave the building, such as law, accounting, medical practices and government contractors.
